In-person Consultation
An in-person consultation is required for Advanced/Off-Leash training and the Behavior Reset program, and available to any client who prefers a face-to-face meeting before starting their training plan. During this session we will:
Observe your dog in their home and/or local environment to see real-life behaviors, triggers, and contexts that aren’t always visible on video.
Conduct a thorough behavior and history intake, covering medical background, prior training, daily routines, and specific incidents or concerns.
Assess temperament, motivation, obedience foundations, recall reliability, leash manners, and environmental reactivity as relevant to your goals.
Demonstrate and practice initial handling and communication techniques so you and your dog can experience our approach firsthand.
Discuss realistic goals, timeline, and recommended program (Advanced/Off-Leash, Behavior Reset, or a tailored option), plus any safety precautions and equipment recommendations.
Create a clear next-step plan, including session frequency, homework expectations, and how we’ll use video or in-person follow-ups to track progress.
Typical length: 60–90 minutes. Location: your home, a nearby park, or another agreed public space. Required for Advanced/Off-Leash and Behavior Reset to ensure a safe, effective, individualized plan. Available to any client who wants an in-person start to their training.
